Sozo, the meanest clown around.

Let me introduce you to my wifey. Her name is Sanderella, and I met her while Circus World was on the 1999 summer tour. We clicked immediately and started dating toward the end of the summer. It started out innocently enough. She was in the audience "laughing her head off" at my mean antics. As a matter of fact, she was the only one in the audience laughing. What a wonderful gal.

Hi, I am so glad we are getting to meet face-to-face. Speaking of face, you don't have a problem in the way I look, do you? Well if you do, that's too bad. I just recently won the title of Miss Messed-Up. By the way, meet my parents below. Surly Sumpter, below, is my ever loving father. Isn't he a doll? My mom is pictured directly beside my father. Her name is Curly Sumpter. Where do you think my looks came from?

We are so happy that Sozo will be joining our "lovely" family. When Sozo asked Surly for Sanderella's hand, we gave him our blessings. Recently we announced the engagement in the local paper. Please read the announcement carefully so you will not miss a thing. Donations will be taken at the church door to help cover expenses of the wedding. This is because we are employed at Rangling Bros. and since Circus World stole all Rangling Bros. patrons, they are declaring bankruptcy.

Engagement Announcement

Surly and Curly Sumpter of Rocking Plains announce the engagement of their daughter, Sanderella Sumpter of Rangling Brothers, to Sozo the Clown of Circus World.

He is the son of Bemmett and Jemmett Belly of Gap- Toothed Alley. The open circus wedding will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 25, at Rangling Bros. Circus.

All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend (as if Sozo has any friends).

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Toily and Soily Sumpter Sr. and Jolly and Holly Pauley of Rangling Brothers. The groom-elect is the grandson of Cemmett and Lemmett Belly of Circus World.

Miss Sumpter is a 1991 graduate of Bernum & Bailey High School. She is currently employed at Rangling Bros. Circus.

Sozo is a 1988 graduate of Circus World High School. He is employed by Circus World (though we don't know for how long).

Preacher Jim Barker will officiate. The preacher's wife, Tammy Ray, will conduct the musicians. Everyone is hoping Jim Barker will not try to steal Sanderella from Sozo.
